Iris cristata 'Alba'

Bien peu d'iris peuvent se vanter d'être heureux à l'ombre mais ce petit bijou est bien plus beau lorsqu'il ne reçoit que le soleil du matin ou de fin d'après-midi.  Il pousse en talles bien rondes et fleurit abondamment lorsque bien établi. 'Alba' est la forme blanc pur avec une langue jaune.  15cm   mai-juin


There are few woodland irises but this little plant grows better in the shelter of tress than in full sunshine. It is very short, one could almost call it a ground cover iris, rising to no more than 8-10 cm. It grows in a circular manner (much like other irises) and does not creep away too fast.
