Lamium orvala

Le nom Lamium vous met possiblement l'idée d'un couvre-sol en tête, mais avec ce grand de la famille, il faut à tout pris effacer cette image, car il se tient bien droit comme un soldat. Une des plus belles plantes de sous-bois du printemps, ses fleurs bourgognes et son feuillage vert tendre se marient si bien aux jaunes, bleus et blancs pastels des plantes bulbeuses et autres vivaces hâtives.

One of the loveliest woodlander for springtime colour, its burgundy whorls of conspicuous flowers and pale green foliage are a delight when married with paler, pastel shades of spring.
